The original movie, “The Craft” (1996), has originality and is well designed. The focus was on a coming-of-age and camaraderie among outcasts. The craft part was a way to say what if, and it sort of got out of hand. In the end, it was a well-told story of what can go wrong and what can go right among friends.
This disjointed movie, if you can call it that, is just a big piece of PC (politically correct) mush. It has to have all the forced PC you can find from race to s-e-x-u-a-l orientation and so forth. Oh yes, and parents are the evil ones, which only teens can see. We get forced alliances and other obscure storylines that have no value. From beginning to end, this is too trashy to be a “B” movie that relies on the legacy of “The Craft” (1996). Oh yes, you get a lot of cheap, loud background music.
Earth, air, fire, water, and a lot of nitrogenous waste.
