This book is a wonderful look into the mind and life of Aleister Crowley. It also dives deep into the philosophy and meaning of his religion of Thelema. Do What Thou Wilt Shall Be the Whole of the Law. Love is the Law. Love under Will. At first glance this can seem to be a dangerous philosophy, but upon further exploration of his meaning you will find a wholesome universal truth that is present in all of our lives whether we are conscious of it or not! To many this book may make it difficult to distinguish between the philosophy of Crowley and the life of Crowley. But one must not be mistaken for the other. The true adept will see between the lines and find infinite value and practical use in his Magickal formulae and methods. His wide range of travel gave experiences in many cultural contexts that expanded his understanding beyond his own simple culture and understandings. This is a highly valuable book for those with eyes to see. To those who don't, it will be a whirlwind of disgraceful and unintelligible nonsense. To see which of these categories you belong to, you only need to read the book and see for yourself where you fall into place. Love is the Law. Love under Will!
