The most famous stories are here

All the stories I wanted are included in this collection. All the stories in the Nightfall and Other Short Stories collection are also included in the second half of this collection. Unlike the Nightfall collection there is no story-by-story commentary from Asimov, so keep that in mind if you're interested in how Asimov came up with each story. The physical book is not too heavy, and I'm glad they split up is works into different volumes to keep the book size manageable.

Heck yeah!

This is a GREAT collection of short stories by Isaac Asimov, one of the best science-fiction short-story writer ever. It contains over forty of his best works, including Nightfall and the Ugly Little Boy. The book itself is pretty big, with nice-sized font. Overall, a nice, sturdy copy of awesome short-stories. A must for an Isaac Asimov fan.

Fabulous REAL-FICTION stories

Asimov did a hell of a job gathering all his stories in a series of books. In The Complete Stories Vol. 1 his handwrittings from the 1940's just up to 1967 are printed in a wonderful science-fiction masterpiece. Asimov is well reknowned as the father of SciFi, and this stories demonstrate how he can write about politics, medicine, science, anthropology, or even sexuality. This book gives you down-to-earth, really involving stories, that will surely catch your attention. You'll find stories about the gigantic Multivac predicting electorial votes from just one person; a robot flirtering his bosses' wife; a super-intelligent computer who wants to comit suicide; and lots of different stories in a wide variety of topics, but all related to SciFi.

Great collection

First off, it's Asimov short stories, so how could it be less then wonderful? Admittedly, the title is a bit misleading, Asimov wrote so many short stories that no single volume could hold all of them. There is, as could be expected, some overlap: stories in this collection that are also in others. That said, this is one of the best collections I've encountered, and it included several stories I have not seen in any other edition.

Stampede to your cart and order!

You won't be sorry to read this book. This edition collects some of the finest and most clever short stories from a master writer. Each story speculates on our future and on the state of humanity; not dry, but through humor and twists of imagination. This book includes about 50 short stories, ranging from 2-30 pages each, including "Nightfall".If you have the chance, read "Jokester" first on page 123. You'll never think about humor again in the same way.

Likw Asimov? It's a must-have!

Featuring stories from "nine tommorows", "earth is room enough", "nightfall" and more, it's a great sci-fi book and a must-have for Asimov's fan (though they'd probably read all the stories before). BUY IT!
