Excellent resource

This 4th edition provides all the material needed to run a challenge course training or university course from start to finish. It covers all the new ACCT certification content areas and goes deeper to help learn about effectively working with groups, plus course management, technical skills, etc. It also includes two chapters on including people with disabilities on ropes courses. As it is titled, it is complete.

Very helpful

I found the guidelines in this book very useful in designing Adventure programmes. Using this book in conjunction with other Adventure Programing books and resources I was able to construct a professional, detailed programme.

Karl Rohnke, Catherine Tait, and Jim Wall have produced an excellent volume for those who run programs in the Challenge Course Industry. This book not only provides practical advice and strategies for effective and safe management but also provides a sometimes humurous look at potential problems with a nice bit of history to boot!
