If you have pets, kids, or high use of you furniture this is an excellent book to hekp you keep your furniture in great shape. I found this to be an excellent book for the individual with moderate sewing skills, it appears to be a bit more difficult for the novice, athough not impossible it is just a higher level than the novice usually is comfortable with. However if you have the appropraite skill set this is an excellent book, the instructions and patterns are straight forward and with a bit of dilligence you can have a very nice slipcover within half a day.
