Easy to read and understand, there are so many dating books out there, this is more like an overview. Ladies, if you like to be married within a year of dating, check this one out Getting to 'I Do', it works!

Complete Idiots Guide to Dating

This is a good resource for beginners dating tips. It covers almost the same material as the dating guide in the `Dummies' series. Both cover fundamental work (such as self-esteem) and then go into the mechanics of flirting, asking out etc. In other words, for a dating novice or someone who has trouble with successful dating and relationships, this book can be an excellent source of information. Since the material covered by this book and the dummies brand version is essentially the same, just buy the one you feel most comfortable with. The best reason for buying one of these books (Idiots or Dummies guides) is that you don't have to read it from beginning to end to use it effectively. Just pick a chapter or section and read through the tips and try them out.

Nice Overview

I didn't like the "Dummy" version of this book but I did like this one. It actually gave some ideas for what to do on dates and how to make dates fun, entertaining and a vehicle to get to know each other. An excellent book on different date ideas is THE ROMANTIC'S GUIDE. I've used a number of the dates described there and my girlfriend thinks I am the most romantic guy on earth.

It's not just for complete idiots. Everyone should read it!

Dr. Kuriansky, host of the LovePhones radio program, definitely seems to know what she's talking about! Lots of great tips about modern dating practices, things to steer clear of, advice on common problems people have with their significant others, how to recognize when someone's interested in you, how to guage how the relationship is going, understanding love, etc. My favorite section is entitled, "Nice Guys Don't Have to Finish Last." There's even a whole chapter on "The Art of Flirting." She has good advice for both girls and guys. Buy it!

It works...It really works!!!

As a shy, timid, and quiet boy of 22, I was in serios need of some help. And I got it within the pages of this book! I learned how to be myself, how to be kind and caring and most importantly, I learned how to be happy. My girlfriend and I are very happy together with the help of Dr. Judy's tips, and we have lasted three years, and we are still going strong. Dr. Judy is a friend till the end, and her style of writing is very supportive for anyone who needs that little bit of confidence to go and get the woman (or man) of your dreams.
