Excellent art course

This is a very comprehensive art course in drawing, with delightful illustrations of everything from drawing simple geometric shapes in 3-d, human form, portraits and animals, to complex settings, landscapes and more. The clear and eminently readable discussion of how to begin drawing, what instruments to use, and how to approach a subject are the best I've found in this level of book. Obviously not for the professional, but anyone from a rank beginner to an amateur enthusiast will derive much instruction and satisfaction from this book.
