For someone who wants in-depth knowledge

I was looking to understand Chinese astrology in depth and I was so glad that this book lived up to it! It includes a massive amount of history and explains complicated things in ways that are easier to understand, without dumbing down the subject matter. I am so happy he included excerpts from Chinese scripts and informs us on the many ways Chinese Metaphysics is interconnected. He also includes a vast amount of astronomy, which I now realize is crucial to understanding this subject. This is, I believe, the most important and only guide anyone studying Chinese Astrology in the west will ever need. If you are able to get your hands on a copy, please do so. It covers so much area and is too in depth to pass up. I cannot explain to you how great this book is on the subject. I just can’t. It’s great. If you want it, do try to get your hands on a copy. It will be well worth it. Now, on to the copy I received. It was rated “acceptable” and ten dollars. Which is fine, I know other copies out there are far more expensive. But I would hope the more expensive copies don’t have ashes, mold, and a scribbled on page.I know you get what you pay for- but I wouldn’t deem my copy acceptable by any means. That being said, it usually doesn’t distract from the book’s contents, which is what matters.

Comprehensive says it all. Very pleased with the ease of movement in finding content information since so much is given. A great working tool.

Wow! It definitely ain't no 12 animal signs!

There's a lot of information in this book (a little bit too much at times). It's definitely not for beginners but for those die-hard Chinese astrologers. Awesome read and still getting my head around it. The only change that could be applied is the format... Their could be more illustrations for those who more visually oriented.
