Never received it

Have to give them a 1 star cause I have never received this book that I ordered back on 1/12/24. Twice I have e-mailed them and got the same bs answer, had to order more. Really? you have 24 in stock right now. I am so disappointed in this company and cannot recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is non-existent. I won't do business with them again after I get my book or a refund.

Nice Crochet Stitch reference book.

This is a good reference book for crocheting. However, the copy I received does not have color photos. They're all in black & white. Makes it a little harder to tell what the design is for the different stitches.

Outstanding Book

I have read all the previous reviews, and must disagree with the negative ones. The stitch variety is excellent, instructions are clear and concise, and the symbols are very well done. I own just about every crochet stitch guide ever published, including many in foreign languages, and still find this a great addition to my library. I have no trouble "reading" the photo of each stitch in the yarn chosen, and for those who do, the symbol version makes it all easy. I would recommend it for any crocheter, beginner or advanced.

Essential for any crocheter

I love this big reference book. The samples are photographed in white yarn over a colored background and are clearly diagramed. It has a good layout with a useful tutorial at the beginning, classic stitch categories and interesting stitches. This is a must for any crocheter who wants to create one of a kind projects. The only fault I find with it is that it doesn't have categories for crochet edgings and motifs like the Crochet Stitch Bible does. That really would have made this book perfect.

Great Crochet Resource!

This book was the answer to my prayer when it comes to a visual resource of crochet stitches. I am working on designing a wedding shawl for myself and wanted a book that had I could get some inspiration from. The book not only has 500 designs, but each are clearly described with directions and a symbol diagram. I have already created swatches of several patterns and the directions make sense and so far are mistake free! I am really happy that I found this book. I have looked at several others and they just don't seem to have the clear color pictures, symbol charts and unusual stitch designs that this one has.

good information

I really am enjoying this book. I have been crocheting for several years now, but have been afraid to try the more complex patterns. This book is very easy to follow. The step by step directions and pictures are wonderful. This is a must have for anyone who enjoys one of the most relaxing hobbies ever...crocheting!

Beautiful and Helpful!

Even though I have several other books with many stitch designs, I picked this one up. I was delightfully surprized to find a beautifully done book. The description of each stitch is clear and easy to follow, and is presented in three different ways: a lovely color photograph using yarn I would love to go out and buy right away; written instructions for each stitch; and the symbol chart. Often many stitch books-nice as they may be-do not use they symbols, and, to my mind, once you learn how to read the symbol chart, crocheting goes so much faster and so much easier. Having all three descriptions(photo, written, symbol) for each stitch really adds to the versitility of this book. Also, the page you want stays open and lies flat so you can follow along without having to stop and put your work down to find your place, and it has 500 stiches, separated into categories from single crochet designs to more complex ones. What more could any crochet lover want? I know this book will become one I use over and over and will keep for many years. I highly reccomend it.
