Fantastic book for women who want the truth about themselves!

This is a fantastic companion to Lies Women Believe. It's great for personal or group study and encourages the reader to apply Scriptural truths on a personal level. Readers who really want to know what Scripture says about current issues and thoughts should purchase this book along with the book, Lies Women Believe, and then spend quality time reading and learning.

an eye-opening experience

What a great book to give great insight into what lies women tell themselves. It gave me great perspective on my life and made me look at life in a different way.

God wants us to walk in freedom!

I think this study is excellent. My only comment regarding the study on Marriage is that it could make some of the gals who have gone through divorce feel condemned and I don't believe the author intended it to be that way. Some of my gals who have walked through divorce had some interesting emotions come up and we talked a lot about the difference between conviction and condemnation. Also, that when we have asked for forgiveness that we don't have to hash through it all again, God has forgiven us and desires for us to walk in wholeness.

honest and deep

This book is an indepth look at how Satan attacks us as women and the process of how these lies then can rule our lives. It is a good read on your own, but a great book to do as a group. I have really enjoyed this study and would highly recommend it for someone who is looking for a deeper study and willing to look honestly at themselves. She does not sugar coat the truths and so it might be unenjoyable for someone who would rather a study with a gentler approach. I enjoyed it and learned a great deal about myself.

Growing godly women

This is a study we are doing with young women who are college age. They are wanting to learn how to turn their lives around and grow into godly women and have godly homes someday. It creates great conversation and pivots the truth on scripture. It is a catalyst for Christ to become real for these young ladies and that being a christian is freedom not boring.
