The overlooked hidden gem guide to running the Colorado River in Grand Canyon.

While the other two guide books focus more on the rapids this one I find vastly superior to the Canyon as a whole. It is far more extensive on the natural and human histories which makes it valuable as a guide for other rivers, hiking etc in the Southwest. It also has very handy seasonal sun and shade icons on the map for most camps which are otherwise only available on separate memographed paper.
