A different perspective

This book is well written and gives more than an overview of the topic. You are taken through the historical development of the 'black church' and how it is more than the location or the style of the church, it is the historical culture of the people. I would recommend this book to anyone who wonders why "the 11am hour is the most segragated" and wants to move forward.
