Jacob has always dreamt of having a log house to raise his family. Also, the thought of a forest of Douglas Fur Trees for each Christmas Eve was a joyful thought. All went well after his son John was born, and continued over the years as the forest of trees continued to grow. All went well until a powerful snowstorm hit just as Jacob and John were going up the hill to take down a shapely tree for his Christmas Eve celebration. John would wind up going down the hillside for help as Jacob moved underneath his special tree for warmth.
