I picked this book because I liked the cover picture and the title made me think it would be about someone helping another person celebrate Christmas. It wasn't really like that. It is about white settlers celebrating Christmas with the Indians. I really liked this book because it made me feel good that these white settlers shared their first Christmas, in Michigan territory, with homeless Indians.
