Cheesy and not in a good way

As a Christian I’m embarrassed by this book 😳

Great Book

I had this book years ago when my kids were little but it was destroyed during a hurricane. We made some lovely memories reading it together and putting some of the rhymes to tunes we made up ourselves. I let my kids use colored pencils to color some of the black and white illustrations. Now that they’re mostly grown, they remember this book and have requested a replacement so I can have it for their own kids to enjoy one day. I’ve also given a copy to a dear family at our church who are expecting a baby. They were thrilled to receive it.

A great childhood memory

This was one of my favorite books as a child. I regret getting rid of my old copy and just had to buy a new one to replace it! The rhymes are great, and were really fun as a child. I'd recommend this for any family.

If you are a born-again Christian, you will absolutely love Marjorie Ainsborough Decker's books for small children. The kids will memorize her rhymes, and learn alot about Jesus and the Bible. The specially gifted author is British, and is delightful to listen to; I believe her books are on tape as well. Your children's or grandchildren's lives will be touched for eternity when these books have become a part of their lives. Also, the time you spend sharing and reading this material to them will cause you to bond in a very special way. Enjoy! And save these books--they are heirloom qualitiy.
