Love, when the man lacked courage

This book is totally South African and totally Jewish. You can learn a lot of the traditions and Feasts of the HaShem. It is a heart-breaking story, and also just as frustrating as Aaron does not have a spine to really stand up for what he wants. A typical story of a man that lacks guts to be like a salmon and to go against the flow of society, and although he stood the chance of losing contact with his children, in many ways he lacked faith, faith to believe that we serve the God of the impossible. I believe that Abba matched Liz and Aaron to be together - to become one in Him, for His glory and purpose. This book is a typical example of a "man" following his own will, instead of becoming "a living sacrifice" and the altar of HaShem. The greatest gift Abba has given us, is free choice, but I believe that our free choice, instead of His design for our lives, is second best. This book was an easy read, very emotional read. You just feel like you want to shake sense into Aaron. I felt that in every way he let Liz down, and Liz almost had enough faith for both of them. The book leaves you feeling empty and disappointed. Almost like love is too explosive to ever want it for yourself. Liz, I am sorry for all your pain in this time of your life. Baruch HaShem that you have a real man in your life now, and I can only hope and pray that he will appreciate you all of the days of his life. It was very brave for Liz to put this all to paper, and let so many people see her heart, even as she let Aaron see her heart, and held back nothing. It is a worth-while read.
