A good read

I really enjoyed reading "The Chocolate Ship". It was good reading from beginning to end. I enjoyed reading about the characters and also the relationships between them. Having just come from a cruise, it was nice to read about how exciting a cruise can be!!!

Fun, hip and modern take on "The Love Boat."

I found this book to be a fun, dishy, sexy read - perfect for summer. Based on the other reviews I've scanned here, not sure what other readers were expecting. "Mutiny on The Bounty" or "Titanic" perhaps? Lighten up, people. When I read the cruise ship concept I figured it would feature vignettes of different characters (like the old TV show) and not just a deep character study of one or two. There's plenty of snappy dialogue that made me laugh and kept me turning pages. And just the right amount of steamy sex. I felt the sway of the ship, smelled the ocean water and was awed by the ethnic majesty and opulence of the ship. Her lush, detailed description swept me way and took me there. Based on the cover's promises, I think this author more than delivered.

A wonderful pleasant reading material. down to home with no big words, simple to digest with good taste. A little seashell could last a memory of a life time. Something to keep for your very own. There are much little details, many little things and we learned to appreciate. I enjoyed the materials Mrs. Monteilh, Looking for to read the coming up "May December Soul"Thanks for the free ride 'sailing' on the Love Boat!!!

Fun Ride!

This book was a hoot, from the fight scene to the sex scenes (everywhere) on the ship. Good idea. Where's Part 2? I'm going to get my ticket to cruise so I can have a ride of my own.

A Chocolate Trip

My coworker told me about this book and said it was very good. I read it in 2 days and laughed and yelled and felt like I was on the ship. I felt like I was spying on the passengers in every chapter. I could see this as a string of books to different places. Ms. Monttielh did a great job with a different twist than I normally read, kind of a comedy. Megan is a freak and Omar is hot, and the captain too. I would say get this one.
