Best friends are forever!

The Chisholm Trail Bride by Kathleen Y'Barbo paperback, 257 pages Published by: Barbour Books Date: April 1, 2020 Reviewed by: mrsboone4, AR, USA March 31, 2020 Rating: 5 Stars Eliza Gentry is really a tomboy. Her mama wants her to be a prissy missy, but her papa wants her to be well rounded. She talks her papa into letting her go on one last cattle drive, before she has to go to New Orleans to find a husband that her parents approve of. Her best friend is Wyatt Creed. They like to watch for shooting stars and are always competing on little things. Wyatt and his father go on the cattle drive, also. And a spoiled rich kid, Ben Barnhart, son of the local judge goes as well. Unfortunately, things go wrong on the cattle drive-Wyatt's father ends up murdered. Eliza's papa as the trail boss is required to investigate the truth of the crime. Fast forward to close to 10 years later, Eliza is preparing to marry Ben, against the wishes of her parents. Thankfully, Ben's true nature is revealed and Eliza decides not marry him. This is a Christian mystery romance. It's well written and easy to follow along. Quite enjoyable.
