This bind-up contains four stories from 'The Cheetah Girls' series - 'Showdown at the Okie-Dokie', 'Cuchifrita, Ballerina', 'Dorinda Gets a Grove' and 'In the House with Mouse'. This description may be from another edition of this product.
THE CHEETAH GIRLS: GROWL POWER FOREVER by Deborah Gregory takes us on an adventure of five teenage girls who dream of becoming superstars. The book is a compilation of four stories which allows us to get to know each girl up close and personal. The girls who have that growl power are: Galleria 'Bubbles' Garibaldi, Chanel 'Chuchie' Simmons, Dorinda 'Do Re Mi' Rogers, and the twins Anginette and Aquanette Walker. In Showdown at the Okie-Dokie the girls win a talent show, but are accused of stealing their competitor's lyrics. Can the girls remain in unity during this fiasco? Chuchifrita Ballerina is the story of Chanel attempting to make her dream of becoming a prima ballerina come true. Will she be able to make her dream a reality and still be down with the Cheetah Girls? How will she be able to swing both without someone or something being neglected? In Dorinda Gets Her Groove, Dorinda lives in a foster home but eventually meets her biological sister Tiffany. Tiffany dreams of becoming a Cheetah Girl, but the other girls aren't too keen on the idea. Will Dorinda have to choose between her sister and the group? In the House With Mouse is about record producer Mouse Almighty wanting to produce the girls demo tape; the girls have to really strut their stuff to show they can shine in the spotlight. THE CHEETAH GIRLS was a very enjoyable and entertaining read. Although the 608 pages were a bit intimidating at first, after getting into the stories and getting to know each girl personally, the pages flew by. There was a lot of slang used in the book and for adults who may not be aware of the defininitions of the words there is a very helpful Cheetah Girls glossary at the end of each story. Reading this book took me back to my teen years when me and my friends use to pretend we had a singing group, and how things would be if we made it big. The trip down memory lane brought back fond memories and in the words of the Cheetah girls this book was "spectaculous". Reviewed by Eraina B. Tinnin of The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers

I liked the whole book a lot. I read books 11 and 12. Book 12 was great. I was hanging on every word for more information. The other book was all right. It could have told you more but it was still good. But over all, they were good. There were 4 books in 1so don't worry if it's long. I also wrote another review just to split it up. Book # 11 was about Dorinda finding her sister and spending time with her. The other book was great. It was about Aqua and Angie going to the Mariah Carey concert and meeting Mariah with the rest of the cheetah girls. But then they go to vocal lessons and something bad happens. If you want to learn more, then read the book and find out more. I think that girls should definitely read the book. Girls would understand it better. They should be a preteen up to an 18 year old because it's all about 5 teenage girls and their lives. The thing I didn't like about this book was there were 4 books in 1. I think it would be easier to read if it was 4 separate books than 1 book with 4 stories. I think it was confusing.

I was reading The Cheetah Girls books 9 and 10. I liked them, because they are about The Cheetah Girls' lives. Also I watched The Cheetah Girls movie, so I wanted to read their book. This book is about these 5 girls who are in the music business. Their names are Galleria (Bubbles), Chanel (Chuchie), Dorinda (Do' Ra Mi), Anginette (Angie), and Aquanette (Aqua). The first book was about the show down at Okey Dokey. There are these girls that thinks the Cheetah Girls stole their song (Which they did) and they were being mean and rude. The second book was about Chanel trying to get into American Ballet Theater and if you want to hear more then read the book!! I think a pretty good reader could understand these types of books. Now don't forget, there are 8 more books behind these books and you should read the other books first before you read these 4. And don't worry that it looks long because there are 4 books in 1 and if you see this type of book then look on the front cover and it will most likely tell you that it is, 1-4,5-8 or even what I am reading, 9-12! So don't panic if you see a book like this. I panicked when I saw that. I even said, "I can't finish all that in a month!" but I know now.
Best Cheetah Girls book YET!!

Hey I'm Courtney.I just finished reading this book and it was great!! The story of 5 girls trying to find their dreams of becoming a famous singing group is very inspiring to young girls every where who want to follow their own dreams. My favorite story in this combined book is Show down at the Okie Dokie. If you read all the cheetah girl books before this one you'll know that aqua and angie went to houston for Thanksgiving and they went to an audition for a houston helps its own concert starring Karmas Children. They get an opening spot and the rest of the cheetahs come down for the concert. They sing it's raining benjamins which was inspired by a dream chanel had where it was raining money had but they used some of the lyrics the Cash Money Girls (CMG) used in their song. And before they know it CMG is out to get the Cheetahs for bitin at they flava!!I'm not gonna tell you the rest cuz you should read this great book and the other two combined books!!So far I have all 3 combined books and I'm hoping there is a 4th one. Please run to Borders NOW and get this book!!
