A genuine classic

Too bad this book is out of print. It's a well-reasoned classic treatment about Catholic schools. The author avoids the smarmy dissent that infects most recent writing on Catholic education. He is well-read and clear in his writing, and he tells us where we've been and where we're going in Catholic schools.
