The Case of the Purloined Parrot start when you find out that cats and birds are being stolen throughout the neighborhood. The detectives take the case. They search the neighborhood. They listen for cat and birds sounds. If you like mysteries you'll love this book. It has great detail,descriptive and is very adventurous. Nothing can stop E.W.'s slick spots and irrepressible detectives. E.W. Hildick is a great author. He has a lot of imagination. People would like this book because of E.W.'s brave and adventurous characters. A really good scene was when the characters were climbing the side of the barn. Another reason why readers like this book because E.W. always leaves each chapter with a cliff hanger, so you have to read on.
