The Story Is Sometimes Impossible To Tell

Vice President Spiro Agnew was famous for his verbiage against critics of the Nixon White House. He became infamous for resigning from the post in 1973 to plead no contest to criminal charges of tax evasion and money laundering due to accepting bribes when governor of Maryland. His novel explores a Vice President whose political career is in great jeopardy when caught in a maelstrom of controversy, which is not what it all appears to be within the court of public opinion. Agnew depicts the depths that politics can plummet and how the real story may be lost in the games reserved exclusively for The Beltway. The theme is timeless and Agnew does an excellent job in telling the rest of the story in the chess match of power, where fact and fiction becomes as garbled as truth and lies.
