One of my favorites

I borrowed this book from my school library about 100 times when I was a little girl. It was one of my favorite stories, and the illustrations are gorgeous. Perfect for little girls who love fairy tales.

Take a look at this book

I must say that I loved this book. However, the author puts no heart into the narrative. It is A wonderful story and the pictures are very beautiful. The pictures are lovely and in a way hunting. On their own the pictures are what really holds you to the story. Don't get me wrong I love the story! It teaches that things are not always what they seem to be. The story of the book is told more by pictures. So the story can be understod just by the pictures. I would recomend this book just for the art in it. But, if the time is taken you can get a lot out of this book. Little ones will like the book for the pictures( you might as well.) And little girls will love the story of a beautiful princess and her canary prince.
