Excellent book for any programmers bookshelf.

Even though this book is now out of print and quite old, it is one of the finest books that I have ever come across for learning the finer points of the C++ language. The authors assume that readers already have a working knowledge of C and some knowledge of C++ and go from there. It is different from most technical books in that the book presents a series of graduated "What If" questions that anticipate problems that a reader may encounter when programming in C++ are presented and answered in detail with accompanying explanations. A great addition to any serious C++ programmers bookshelf.
