A great book about a great trip...

I read this book as a whole and thought it was fantastic. It brought back many memories from the first summer tour which I saw every show on. Quite in depth writing with plenty of insight into the life of someone on phish tour. A must read for any phan, or tourer of any band.

Very interesting Travelogue/Road Novel

Really captures the scece. . . the free flow feel of this type of journey. Written as only someone who has experienced the trip could. If you've made such a journey yourself- this will read like an easy stroll down memory lane. And if you've never attempted one, this travelogue/novel provides a glimpse of what this social subculture is really like. The book reads smoothly- easily capturing the ebb and flow of the journey. If you're open to delving further into the writing, it's filled with multiple layers of meaning and allusion. . . but that's an adventure in itself. This book isn't for everyone. . . but it should be!
