A fun and entertaining book - would be a great book for young readers, also.

This book has nostalgia - particularly for a way of life that is fading amid our technical, fast-paced lifestyle. It is funny, and even has a touch of sadness, particularly the story of the young policeman. For those of us who grew up in the South, it touches a lot of chords with us. I recommend it! (even for non-Southerners)
