Great selection of recipes, covering everything from soups & salads to kids lunches and recipes for microwave cooking, if you have one available. Fantastic ideas for anyone who wants to save some money on work/school lunches and enjoy their lunch!

Good advice on planning and packaging, as well as recipes

The book is full of lunch recipes that are appetizing, as well as portable and easy to prepare. Epstein lists sandwiches and salads that sound like something you would buy at a gourmet takeout place (i.e., a grilled vegetable and goat cheese sandwich). She also provides practical advice on how to shop and plan so that you have the ingredients for a tasty sandwich on hand. All the recipes come with suggestions for accompaniments, substitutions and packaging (i.e., how to make sure your beautiful lunch is still beautiful when you go to eat it). I am inspired.
