Excellent tale!

This is one of the best Sil. Special Editions I've read--in fact, one of the best *books* I've read. Nina Baxter has to struggle to support her two children, one of whom has allergy troubles, so health insurance is a must. When Nina is laid off from her job as secretary she must reluctantly accept the offer from David Hansen to be his private assistant. This story is amazing--Nina's growing relationship with David is realistic, touching, funny, and sad. Comic relief is provided by Bubby, a grandmother everyone should have. Have a box of tissues ready for the last chapter. This book is excellent and worth the effort of tracking down.

Wendy Warren has surpassed herself with this book! The second in the Family Business series, she delights and engages readers with likeable Nina Baxter, two adorable kids and Bubby - an aging Jewish grandma. Nina Baxter is having a bad day ... her rent just went up and then she gets fired from her long-time job. With two kids and an aging grandma to feed, what's a girl to do? When she find a new job and can't pay the rent, she gets desperate. so when former boss David Hanson offers her a solution - work for him at his home, she can't tell him where to put his offer. The catch is, she and her family has to move in with him. Not your typical romance, so be prepared to laugh and cry with Nina, David, Bubby, Izzy and Zach.
