Relates the history, standards, and characteristics of the breed, discusses how to get a dog settled into a new home, and covers feeding, breeding, grooming, basic health, and training. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book has a lot of great information on Bichons. Unfortunately the last few chapters about health, nutrition, and training were abouut dogs in general and not focused on the specific needs of a Bichon Frise.
Great for newcomers to the breed!

I found this book to be very helpful in learning about the Bichon when we purchased our first one in 2000. What a wonderful breed it is! Lot of helpful hints in it; a must read!
A great resource!

This book was a great resource to us for the care of our dog, Bam, and to understanding the unique characteristics of the Bichon. We've owned a Bichon for years and still learned much from this book. I recommend it to anyone who is getting or already has a Bichon.
