Predictable, then not believable

It wasn't bad, but this isn't a book I would ever think to recommend to someone. The writing was fine, but the story was nothing special or original. At first I wondered if I was reading A Simple Favor under a different name. It was fine for a while, though it was easy to guess what was going on and why. And it was even believable that a person could be as trusting as Louisa...people like that do exist. And then there came a point where she stretched from maybe being someone who sees good in everyone to simply a gullible moron - after that it was especially hard to care about her at all.

Very Interesting

Love this book. Made me want to read it any chance I got.

Predictable

I love good psychological suspense. However, I see more and more books in this genre failing to meet that description. The character who is the "best friend" pulls some very underhanded dirty deeds on the victim. This is to be expected but really it's nothing that one doesn't already see coming except for the gullible victim, of course. Before I got midway, I already knew pretty much what was ahead. I wasn't completely bored so I gave it two stars but had it lasted much longer, I think that I wouldn't have finished the book. Also, the characters were all so two-dimensional. They needed to be more fleshed out and have a little more depth to them.

Great read!

Couldn't put the book down.
