Amazing

If you are a fan of CS Lewis, this book provides a better picture of the man you adore. Instead of just focusing on his fiction, this collection expands the horizon. I haven't finished it as of the typing of this review, but I started "Surprised By Joy" and I found it delightful. Lewis has such a way with words as to make the reader a part of what he is talking about. In his description of his garden, you are there. When he talks about adjusting to school clothes, you deeply understand his discomfort and even sympathize with him. Always a master of words, and forever in our hearts, Mr. Lewis.

Nice Anthology

This is a nicely bound edition (green hardcover with gold page-edging) containing 4 of Lewis's books: "Surprised By Joy"; "Reflections on the Psalms"; "The Four Loves"; and "The Business of Heaven". Even though there are 4 books in here it is not overly big (probably smaller than the average Study Bible or college text book). The print is a little smaller than if you bought any of these books seperately, but only a little bit smaller. The works contained in here are all exceptional - and if you already bought his Signature Classics boxed set with 6 books you will not find any over-lap here. This editioni is usually very reasonably priced as well.
