Patrick Pennington can't seem to avoid getting into trouble despite a promising career as a concert pianist and a growing love for a sixteen-year-old girl. This description may be from another edition of this product.
i have read the book when i was about 12 years old. i read it in german and since i was a big fan of beethoven and played the piano myself, the book became my all time favourite. during my adolescence i have never read any other book of such a great influence and impression on me. i have just read it again, after almost 30 years, and it still created great memories of the times when i was young. sounds very sentimental, but it's true! :-)

Beethoven Medal, The

This was the first book I read by this author. I liked it enough that I consequently read every single title I could find, provided it was written by K. M. Peyton, regardless of the subject matter. The story moves along quickly and is aided by a combination of wonderful humor and refreshing plot. The characters, like the plot, are unique, likeable, and interesting. The entire mix results in a story that is unforgettable, and very enjoyable to read. I highly recommend this book.
