No longer afraid of Woobie!

My two little girls were afraid of the monsters in their room at night. I heard countless stories of Woobie and how he scared them. I found this book at the library, and I thought it might alleviate their fears. It did more than that. It weaves in how to make friends, how to deal with bullies as well as how everyone, even a monster, is the same. Newton, the monster, is visibly different yet cute-ugly. My daughters weren't afraid of him, and they even wished they would find a hidden door and meet a new friend. It has become a classic in my house.
