entertaining, but believable?

It's an entertaining book, but I found at least one trivia fact in it to be untrue. It states: The Washington Monument is sinking an average of 6 inches per year. I thought that sounded crazy, that would mean after 10 years it would have sunk 5 feet, there's no way that could be true, I looked it up and it's actually 5.something inches every century. Now I wonder how many other statements are not true...

Good mix of questions

I got this book as a gift for a trivia buff, and soon after it was opened on Christmas day was having questions read to me. It's a good mix of categories: History, geography, famous people, pop culture, and more. I didn't find the questions to be too hard nor too easy. Some other "bathroom" books have trivia factoids, but this one is questions. If you're looking for questions organized by categories, this is a decent pick-up.

Bathroom Trivia Book

Our family celebrates St. Nicholas day each year, falling on December 6. We try and get unique and fun items for the family members. We happened across the Bathroom Trivia Book on our travels, and immediately got a great charge out of it's wittiness, and information. Perfect for the "Thinking Room". So we ordered some, and every family member that received them, thought they were "terrific". Thanks .

Excellent little volume!

I read questions for a weekly trivia game at the place where I live. This is the best-liked collection of questions and amusing trivia we have found so far. The questions are on varied topics and are not too hard, not too easy. We're only sad that it's a short book, so we're almost finished with it now. We wish it would go on for many more pages.
