Bathing suit workout

A book that is well written with great pictures and DIRECTIONS on what to do . How many times do we get a book about fitness and it doesn't tell us exactly what we should do(how many sets and reps ect). Joyce writes in an entertaining way and doesn't beat around the bush. She tells you how we should eat in this book too. She also writes about getting plastic surgery and really goes into detail about it. I thought the success stories were motivating. I learned alot from this book about how doing aerobics will not change the shape of your body. The workout is for your abs/hips/butt. She carefully created the workout to be non boring and you do one exercise for your hips then move on to another exercise for your butt and then finish with abs. You do this 3 times. Then move on to the next exercise. You do 10 different exercises. It takes me about an hour. I use her Bathing suit workout book and video.THis book is worth getting!

Six Hours into Joyce's Workouts

I have been doing this workout in conjunction with Joyce's Bone Building Workout, and am very pleased with the results. As I wrote in my Bone Building Workout review, I have more strength and energy than I ever had doing aerobics alone. Also, despite having approximately thirty pounds to lose, I'm in higher spirits with weight training. It feels great to be firming up areas that I thought were going to be forever weak.

Excellent workout for those problem areas -excellent results

I've tried just about every method available to lose weight. The results I've achieved with this workout are better than any I've ever had. I do this workout every other day, and an upper body workout on the alternate days. I rest one day a week. I don't do any additional aerobics, and I eat just as I have always eaten. Thus, I think the claim that you can get your problem areas into shape using this workout is very accurate. I saw definite results in as little as three weeks, and I'm more than thirty pounds overweight. My cellulite and fat are disappearing, and my muscles are gaining definition and shape.The book format is easy to read, and all illustrations and instructions are clear and easy to follow. Also, there is a tear-out wall chart which I put into a binder. I can easily flip through this as I am doing the workout. I can move through the workout quickly this way, and the workout itself is an aerobic activity.Joyce provides instructions on how to begin using one of her workouts so that anyone at any fitness level can accomplish this workout. This particular workout uses a technique called tri-setting. Joyce explains this term in detail since understanding how the technique works the muscles is important to the most effective workout. Overall, this is an excellent workout for those problem areas. I have seen results with this workout that I have not seen with dieting, treadmill, exercise bike, sports, other weight training programs, deep breathing programs, and walking. I'm finally getting the body I've always wanted.Heather

I love this book!

After only 5 days of following Joyce's instructions and performing The Bathing Suit Workout, I am already seeing a difference in the way my body looks. This is a great workout, it is very easy to follow. Anyone at any fitness level could do this book and get maximum results. I believe that there was a printing error, it doesn't take 10 minutes a day. It takes me 30-50 minutes to complete the routine. It is the best 50 minutes I spend though because I am getting incredibly toned and my heart rate is up the whole time too so that I am getting a great aerobic workout. Even at 50 minutes the workout goes by very quickly. Before you know it you are done and feeling reshreshed and energized. Joyce is very sincere and encouraging. She will do everything she can to help you achieve your goals. I have corresponded with her several times via email and I am amazed at how quickly she responds back. EVERYBODY needs this book! It is worth every penny. Enjoy!

Another great workout book from Joyce Vedral!

I started working out with Joyce's book (The 12-Minute Total-Body Workout) since March of 1994 and haven't stopped because of the great results. The Bathing Suit Workout is another great book. For me, I noticed results after the first week (I do both 12-Minute & Bathing Suit Workouts). All the exercises are fully explained with photographs on position, movement and helpful tips. There's also a convenient tear-out wall chart for reference. You can't get bored with her workout because of the variety of exercises. I won't shy away from bikinis anymore!
