The Price of Fame

Would you sell your soul to the Devil to become famous? These teens did, with interesting consequences. I bought this book (and its companions in the Dark Forces series) starting from when I was 8 years old in 1983 and soon had at least 40 of these books sitting on my shelf, between readings of course. I absolutely LOVED this series (and Twilight!) as a kid and though they're written for younger people, I found of one of my favorites in my attic ("Eyes of the Tarot") and it was still quite readable, though extremely light reading for a literate adult, admittedly. Anyway, this book is one of the better ones in the series, with its very recognizable blood red cover, complete with teens in KISS-like makeup and guitars... I'd love to own the whole Dark Forces series again, for nostalgia's sake. :)
