Easy read

This is a short but good book. You get pulled in quickly and it goes really fast.

Good dark creepiness

I can't compare this to the original story as I try to read Lovecraft as little as possible. That said I am glad I went in without knowing much about the original! I much preferred the first half of the story to the second half, as I found Tommy to be a much more sympathetic character, but both halves were excellent. I enjoyed the descriptions of Suydam's house.
