Good Insight

Great book as to looking at the insight of representing athletes "and their families" & friends. Although I will never become a sports agent because of this, I can now see how many of these players go broke when careers are complete.... Too many hands in and no one wants to say no...

Could no stop reading it! I loved knowing how the deals got done and all the insights he gave.

Can't put it down

David Falk is not about Ferrari's and Rolex's. He's not about telling you what you want to hear. He IS about brutal honesty and the best interest of his clients. Being Michael Jordan's agent is enough to get people to want to read your book. What's great about The Bald Truth is that it turns out, David Falk is like Jordan himself; he started from nearly nothing and made it to the top through extremely hard work and competitive spirit. In an honest and honed voice, Falk recalls how he came up in the sports agent business, how he predicted and leveraged changes in marketing shoe/apparel deals, and how he learned so much along the way. Falk's honesty, experience, and broad perspective make this book a very worthwhile read. As I said in the title, I can't put it down...

Great Book, Great Boss

I am half way through David's book and I cant put it down. He is a brilliant negotiator and offers great tips on business strategy and how to have the upperhand in any business dealings. I had the pleasure of working for David at FAME from 1997-1999. I loved every minute being part of his team. Sports fan or not, you will love this book and take away from it valuable ideas on how to rise to the top of your game in any field. Bravo, great book!!!
