Who rescues who?

This is the first book by Terry Essig that I have read. I found this book very enjoyable. The two main characters are Luke and Marie. Each of them are confronted in live with problems that end up being too much for them to handle on their own. When they work together both are able to handle their problems. In the end they realize they have a lot to offer each other, including love.
