Kevin Xi's assumption for American politicians

This new book is written by Kevin Rudd, a former Australian prime minister who has studied, lived in, and worked with China for more than forty years, is one of the very few people who can offer real insight into the mindsets of the leadership whose judgment will determine if a war will be fought. Even he speaks and studies Chinese culture and history, he still looks through the western looking glass because this book is for American general public and hawkish politicians. He loves China that he assumes himself as President Xi to master the world affair in Kevin’s way. He understands China suffered in the A Century of Humiliation by Foreign Powers with Unequal Treaties imposed on Chinese people. China has been the center under heaven in terms of culture, trade and foreign relations. It has been the determination of most Chinese to reclaim its world status as China suffered at the turn of 20th Century in the humiliation of Eight Nations invasion and occupation of Peking and the subsequent Boxer Protocol the shoulder heavy burden on every Chinese! It is interesting to accuse China for the pollution, actually the West shift their dirty industry to China so that they can enjoy the beautiful sky and air. The West is attacking their own shadow as they pollute since Industrial Revolution! On human rights, why focus thousand miles away of different background but turn a blind eye to the ¾ million homeless on the street. HR is a weapon to demonize the enemy? American fleets navigated around China and wage trade war, is it China threat or threat to China? How effective and efficient on controlling covid 19, capitalism democracy or people democracy in the death toll? He did a good research job in the chapters of circle. However he look at the Hong Kong 2019 riot violence without the proper perspective. Hongkong government determined to restore peace, law and order, the same as American did on January 6 American Congress. He did not give a full history of Kuomintang in China, and Chiang and Company fled to Taiwan and now with the Progressive Party to de-China and attempted to declare independence which Biden claimed after the election not to support. The American Taiwan Act in 1979 was declared with mental reservation and heavily involved in China internal affair since China civil war of 1940s. The KMT government has been fooled three times even today. Will American shed blood in defending Taiwan to sacrifice Los Angeles? Sino-America war is avoidable as China Xi has no intention to fight as China wars are more defensive and not invasive. This book is to promote his authority background to sell his insight for the western minds. It is Kevin Xi’s assumption
