This is the best no -nonsense preparation guide I have seen thus far for beginning actors. It takes some of edge off of going into the audtioning stage for actors and want to be actors. Especially good for person(s) wanting to enter the world of acting in the adult stages of life as well.
The Audition Process - An Actor's #1 Tool
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
During my years as an actor I have read many how-to audition books. The Audition Process is, by far, the is the best audition book I have come across. Not only does it give you tips on monologues and songs, but it reveals the mysteries of getting a job. The book covers in detail headshots, resumes and theatre conferences. It even goes so far as to list the contact info and requirements for each conference! In addition, The Audition Process is well-written and very easy to understand. This book is a must have for any aspiring actor. Kudos Bobby Funk!
