An excellent guide!

This is a very well written book, explaining first, in detail, what the grain in various wood species looks like. Then Spencer takes you through examples of where the woodgraining technique is used and finally a tutorial on how to create credible faux woodgrain patterns for different woods. We are restoring a heritage inn and tavern dating from 1844 and this guide will be a big help to our young artists.
