Great Buy

I got the book for my little brother and he loves it. Has been in his shop working from it's pages and creating great pieces. Easy to use book.

FOR ME, THIS ONE WAS PURELY INSPIRATIONAL

This is a fine book by any standards. But for my personal needs it has to fall into the category of purely inspirational rather than practical. The designs and techniques shown here are great...if you are an expierenced woodworker. For someone like my self, who has no history of working in wood, I could only look at the wonderful works of art here and dream. I guess what I am trying to say is that this is not a book for the beginner, or at least for one who wants to know how to get started. The projects featured in this work are far and above anything I will ever be able to turn out. On the other hand, the book, in a wonderful way, shows just what can be done with this art form, ergo, the inspiration. I feel if you are already highly skilled, then this work would be quite useful. If you are a beginner, you probably should look elsewhere.
