Mostly black and white photos

I didn't find this to be a very informative book, based on the title. Its like a documentary of one couples travel, where they visit gardens. The pictures are black and white, and it covers a lot of countries that just gives you the styles that they used. I have a topiary book that gives me actual detail on how to achieve the looks, but this is just a photo collection. If you are looking for ideas from 50 years ago, great. If you want to learn how to do it then you will need a different book. I had a hard time rating it just because its not what I expected, although its not a worthless book.
