incredibly thought provoking

I love this book. I am not even finished yet! Each chapter, page, paragraph is rich with truth. I am enjoying it very much. I am only reading a few pages a day during my morning time, to be sure that I can assimilate the information. I am finding it fascinating, enlightening and very thought provoking. Truly, it is a treat. I have already recommended the book to many and found myself reading excerpts over the phone this weekend to a friend of mine that found it equally amazing. The gentlemen that wrote this book are exactly the kind of friends I love to have over for dinner. They are exploring the things that really matter most in life.

A life-changing book!

This book changed my life! I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I read this book twice before I "saw" it. Since then I've read it three more times and often go to it to renew my self-awareness. I've just given it to my daughter, and would give away hundreds of copies if I had them. The Malone's I will be indebted to for the rest of my life.

What's really important

this book is one of those that can change your life. A welcome relief from pop psychology, this book makes you dig down and look at the real issues. It is spiritual but not religious, uplifting but not promising an easy solution. Being used as text in many college and graduate school clases.

Doesn't get any better than this!

Malone & Malone have written an excellent exploration of intimacy and its dynamics. As a therapist, I have recommended this book year after year for those who can benefit from a higher level of reading than most self-help or consumer-focused books. I recommend to both clients and therapists without reservation!

My therapist recommended this as a "step above"

My therapist recommended this as a "step above" many self-help books. I have not read it yet because it appears to be out of print, however I am hoping it will become available soon. My therapist thinks highly enough of this book that she volunteered to go shopping for it in some used bookstores on my behalf!
