The title is not overstated - this tome will teach you to cook and catapult you into the world of food. You'll have a hard time eating out happily when once you cook this well. You'll also become popular among your friends. The front of the book starts with a tool inventory followed by a pantry inventory of foods to have on hand so you have what's needed for any occasion.
