Scrapbook is an excellent resource for anyone interested in the Avro Arrow and some of the politics surrounding this aircraft.I've personally been studying this company and aircraft story since serving in Canada's Air Force and discovering that the CF-18 Hornet has nothing NEAR the performance, in the interceptor role, of the 1959 Arrow.Zuuring has reprinted Cabinet minutes and other letters which show some very interesting items, such as the fact that the Cabinet was routinely ORDERING the Chiefs of Staff to make certain recommendations regarding defence, recommendations they didn't necessarily agree with.Zuuring makes some commentary in the text which I find naive. What is clear from the actual minutes is that the government was not being particulary honest, while they were painting Avro with the same, or worse brush. The photos and techical drawings in the book are excellent.I recommend this book as a resource for historical documents and the excellent photos.
