Not Ms Balogh's finest.

Starts off quite appealingly but rapidly tapers off to become quite dull. Same can be said of the heroine. And NO humor. I find her books quite varied - some a quite boring with preachy heroines and stultifying dialogue while others are humorous and totally delightful and can be read and reread endlessly. This one won't be reread, not by me.
