This enabled him to write a compelling fictionalized, first hand account of an important part of Wright's life. It remains one of the truest pocitures of what Wright may have been like at this time. Levin is one of the great literary figures of modern times bringing us Frankie & Johnnie, Complusion and the staging of the Diary of Anne Frank among many others. Levin had just completed the proofs of The Architect when he died in Israel.
