Food chain on American Way of Eating

Tracie document her undercover working experience in California farm field, at Walmart and Applebee in this book and shared her comment and thought. It is the rest of the story from produce to supercenter distribution and to menu on chain restaurant. Her insight helps understand the under class in making ends meet with their poor minimum wage. How can those people improve their status and finance for the American dream? Dining out on American menu in chain restaurant is eating central kitchen processed food loaded with fat, sugar and salt to lead to medical problem of three highs. It is beauty of free market economy for your freedom of choice of eating out. She compares to eat out or fix at home use the same amount of time but much cheaper and healthier if use basic meat and vegetables. This is a fun book to read to understand the food system operation and health issue.
